Some of you make know the subjects of this weeks wedding of the week, Blake Lively a.k.a Serena van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl, and Ryan Reynolds from movies like Green Lantern, The Proposal and Just Friends, to name a few. If you didn’t know they tied the knot September 9, 2012 in Mount Pleasant North Carolina. They got married at Boone Hall Plantation, where the movie The Notebook was filmed back in 2004. The location was awesome and we picked up these photos from people.com of the place.

The wedding reception took place in the Evening under a white tent. And as for other details, Lively and Reynolds rings were both designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Here is a photo of hers we found on ww.celebritybrideguide.com

The following photos and information all came from Martha Stewart Weddings where Blake and Ryan’s wedding was featured in the winter issue. According to Martha Stewart weddings, she walked down the aisle in a Marchesa silk tulle gown that featured a fitted bodice, illusion crystal beading on the shoulders, and rose-gold embroidery which you can see a glimpse of below.
Her bridesmaids also wore Marchesa and her shoes were created for her by Christian Louboutin. The groom and his groomsmen all wore custom made Burberry suits.

The bouquet was designed by Weddings‘ style director Kate Berry and was made up of pink jasmine, andromeda, dusty miller, and blushing bride hydrangea. My favorite parts of the bouquet were the petals dipped in subtle rose-gold glitter to match the embroidery on her gown.

The Dessert table was filled with some of Blake’s favorite treats that surrounded their vanilla-and-sour-cream wedding cake with peach-apricot preserves and Earl Grey-milk chocolate buttercream made by Maggie Austin Cake

Here are some other desserts that were on the table.
These S’mores bars by Bakehouse Charleston were contained in pretty wrappers.

Coffee-and-cream espresso beans from Nuts.com were held in gold foil cupcake liners.

Mini Tarts blueberry cheesecake tartlets by Caviar & Bananas in Charleston.

Tiny lemon tartlets with meringue toppings also by Caviar & Bananas.

Various different fruit jellies from La Maison du Chocolat.

And last but certainly not least were these cute mini strawberry shortcakes by Caviar & Bananas.

What do you think of the wedding? Sounds amazing to me!
